NOSO member Evine Eriksson has graciously invited us to her beautiful farm outside Front Royal. At her farm\, Evine will be able to share with us the long lineage of Norwegian ownership of her family’s land. She also has a beautiful\, stocked pond\, and she has invited us to bring our fishing poles if we would like to relax and cast a line. \nNorwegian Society will provide water and sodas. Please also be aware that this event is outside\, and it is a good idea to bring sunscreen\, bug repellant\, comfortable outdoor chairs\, and/or a blanket. DESCRIPTION:On April 22nd\, the Norwegian Society has secured a private tour and tasting at one of our area’s premier wineries: Paradise Springs in Clifton\, Virginia.\nThis event will be an exclusive VIP experience that will lead us through the cellars of Paradise Springs where we will learn about their process and wines. During the tour\, we will enjoy a tasting of 6-7 of their wines as their sommelier guides us on their notes and complexity. The experience will begin at 12/noon and will last approximately an hour and a half.\nBecause of the exclusivity of the event\, we are limited to a headcount of 12 people. Please click the link below to register and prepay. The cost is $35 per person.\nAfter the tour\, we will be on our own to enjoy the scenery and property. We will have time to socialize and enjoy the on-site charcuterie or their food truck. There is plenty of seating outdoors\, so let’s hope the weather gods are good.
